06:15 – 06:45 AM: Pick-up from your hotel in Hue City Center by our English-speaking guide and driver to transfer to Hue Railway Station.
07:15 AM: Board the Heritage Train and depart Hue. Sit back and take in the rolling green landscapes, traditional villages, live onboard musical performances, and cultural displays in the community carriage.
11:15 AM: Arrive at Tho Loc Station. Meet your local driver and transfer to a nearby restaurant.
11:45 AM – 12:30 PM: Savor a delicious meal of authentic Central Vietnamese regional cuisine and take time to relax.
12:45 – 01:15 PM: Board a traditional dragon boat for a scenic cruise along the emerald waters of the Son River toward Phong Nha Cave.
01:30 – 03:30 PM: Explore the breathtaking interiors of Phong Nha Cave. Marvel at its subterranean river, illuminated limestone towers, and ancient rock formations shaped over millions of years.
03:30 – 04:00 PM: Cruise back along the Son River to the main boat pier.
04:00 – 04:35 PM: Transfer to your Phong Nha homestay. Check in, unwind, and enjoy free time exploring the peaceful village surroundings.
07:00 – 08:00 PM: Gather for a home-style dinner prepared by your hosts, soaking in the friendly local atmosphere.
06:30 AM: Enjoy a fresh local breakfast at the homestay.
07:00 AM: Board your private vehicle and depart for Paradise Cave (Thien Duong Cave), nestled deep within Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park.
07:50 AM: Arrive at the park entrance. Hop aboard an electric buggy and take a brief walk through the shaded forest path to reach the cave entrance.
08:00 – 09:30 AM: Step inside Paradise Cave, often called the underground palace. Walk along wooden pathways through cathedral-like chambers filled with stunning stalagmites and massive stalactite columns.
09:30 – 10:00 AM: Walk back to the entrance area and ride the electric buggy back to the main parking zone.
Late Morning: Tour concludes in Phong Nha. You may choose to stay in Phong Nha to explore further on your own, continue toward Hanoi or Ninh Binh, or request our team to arrange your return trip to Hue via the Heritage Train.
Pick-up is included from all hotels located within Hue City Center on Day 1. The main tour itinerary ends in Phong Nha late morning on Day 2. We can easily arrange onward transfers to Da Nang, Hoi An, Dong Hoi, or a return transfer back to Hue upon request.
We recommend wearing lightweight, breathable clothing and comfortable walking shoes with good grip, as cave pathways can be damp. Bring a small daypack with sunscreen, insect repellent, a light jacket (cave interiors maintain a cooler temperature), and a camera.
